Steampunk is looking for someone experienced in using Jira for the planning and tracking of work within a scrum or kanban Agile methodology. If you’ve got an appetite for taking on new challenges, this is the job for you! You’ll be asked to be flexible in the types of tasks you’ll be asked to perform, ranging from some business analyst work to work more closely aligned to a scrum master type role. We’re a cybersecurity program within DHS that directly supports over 70 systems with a team of about 50 people. We’d be asking you to take the lead in our desire to implement Jira as a tool to assist us in the planning, tracking, and execution of a body of work required as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) utilized by our teams of Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) within the program. We’d be asking you to teach teams how to use Jira, assist them with the planning and execution of sprints of work, and advise and assist these teams in how to best use Jira to better provide visibility and transparency into their work.
