Steampunk is seeking a Digital Production Specialist help power PUNK U, our internal learning platform for videos, webinars, lunch-and-learns, and hands-on learning content.
These are corporate programs that Steampunk provides to all employees to continuously improve the skills of our employees, provide consistency and excellence in the ways we provide professional services to our customers, and continuously identify new and innovative ways to solve problems and build solutions on our content production and dissemination. This Digital Production Specialist will report to the Digital Production Manager and will be responsible for engaging with Steampunk employees to understand the needs of the organization and deliver on those needs through the Design Intelligence and PUNK U resources. This person will be comfortable working with people across the company and will be tasked with producing content with Steampunk employees as authors.
Responsibilities
Required
Professional experience with video editing and graphic design tools within Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Davinci, or Final Cut; proficiency with Canva or similar platforms
Professional experience with DSLR photography, including on-camera and off-camera flash, in office and on-location environments
Professional lighting experience for creative video production
Professional audio capture experience using lavalier, or remote recording devices to ensure clear sound
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience producing content for multiple social media platforms
Preferred
Video production experience in a social media–style format
Experience working in Agile environments
Ability to record, produce, and edit podcast content in both video and audio formats
Experience creating digital assets, including overlays, lower thirds, captions, intros, and outros
Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
