Steampunk is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support our corporate and internal customers in Tysons Corner, VA.
The primary responsibilities of the position are to provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Recruiting teams as well as other corporate departments. The nature of the work requires that the candidate demonstrate initiative, organization, responsibility, customer service skills, and the ability to be flexible and adaptive to a fast-paced, growing and fluid business environment. The candidate must be able to communicate professionally, effectively, and decisively with all levels of the organization, and be able to solve practical problems as well as exercise sound consideration with regard to sensitive and confidential information.

Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries via phone, email, HR inbox, and Service Desk tickets, escalating complex issues as needed.
Support core HR functions including onboarding, payroll assistance, HRIS data management, and employee offboarding.
Coordinate HR programs and events.
Maintain accurate employee records, files, and confidential HR correspondence.
Prepare company-wide communications and assist with employment verifications and reporting.
Partner with HR team members and cross-functional groups to drive operational efficiency and support broader HR initiatives.
Adapt to evolving business needs by taking on additional responsibilities as required.

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
