Overview

Steampunk is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to work with the Chief Information Officer Team to support the internal IT infrastructure and personnel IT technology requirements as the company grows.

Contributions

  • Build, integrate, and deploy computer technology to new and current Steampunk employees and contractors
  • Assist with new hire orientations with new IT technology configurations, software, and remote access
  • Troubleshoot Steampunk technology hardware and software issues and escalate, as needed
  • Repair, replace, and redeploy technology, when required
  • Organize and monitor Steampunk technology assets in Azure/Intune and track inventory
  • Enforce Steampunk IT policies and configurations with all deployed IT technology
  • Work with the CIO Team to test, deploy, and troubleshoot new technologies
  • Provide input for creating and updating Steampunk IT policies and procedures

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience with help desk support activities and/or Windows/MacOS desktop troubleshooting andconfigurations
  • Ability to install and configure Windows, MacOS, and iOS operating systems on laptops and devices.
  • Manage user groups and computer accounts in Microsoft Azure
  • Ability to integrate and troubleshoot technology with printers, conference room AV connections, Teams calls,remote access to Steampunk cloud systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting Microsoft (Office) 365 applications
  • Possess good communication skills and the ability work directly with Steampunk employees and contractors totroubleshoot IT issues

Preferred Skills:

  • Associate or bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Related Field
  • Azure Active Directory/Intune integration experience
  • FreshService or similar IT ticketing system
  • Audio and Video Experience
  • Experience with the Slack and Microsoft Teams application
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Microsoft and/or Apple certifications are a plus
