Steampunk is seeking Director of Salesforce Change Management who are operationally-minded, creative, hands-on experts with delivering innovative solutions to approaching change in the Government. Ideal candidates will thrive working with clients in a consultative relationship capacity and will have experience managing teams of OCM (Organizational Change Management) personnel to navigate complex change requirements around our core technologies offerings (Salesforce, Databricks, Google Cloud, Mulesoft, Tableau, etc). Responsibilities will include leadership of teams for the complete life-cycle of solution development and deployment, from hands-on proposal support to driving adoption initiatives and complete training deployment. This individual will ensure effective end-to-end org strategy and change design, to include holistic change canvas to running OCM Change deliverables with other technologies and solutions, driving high client satisfaction with the final product.

Steampunk is currently seeking a Senior Change Management leader for the Federal Practice to lead the successful project management and delivery in a government client consulting environment.  The Director of Customer Engagement will be a technically savvy change manager with a proven track record of leading end-to-end organizational transformations in a complex client environment.  They will also:

  • Serves as the functional delivery leader, accountable for completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight and client acceptance
  • Manage the P/L of their portfolio
  • Fosters and promotes innovative thinking across the client environment
  • Builds and maintains client relationships, developing a strategic vision for clients and internal teams
  • Handles challenging client situations and offers OCM (Organizational Change Management) business guidance & direction to client executives
  • Manages staff and monitors performance and training needs to create skills expansion and career advancement opportunities
  • Interface with Business Analysts and technical staff and be responsible for delivering complete work products
  • Design agile change strategies that will help companies change their culture and the way they do everything while preparing them for the future
  • Lead Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities for large-scale transformation projects including, but not limited to, stakeholder engagement, change management, training, communications, organization design and governance, and culture solutions that enable clients to meet and exceed their digitalization goals
  • Wants to be constantly learning and evolving!

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • US Citizen
  • Located in Washington DC Metro Area (No remote / travel)
  • 5+ Years working in technology
  • 5+ Years leading in consulting services
  • Proven experience of leading the Change Management aspect of enterprise and custom Software solutions in complex client environments
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving governance, program/project management, business process and/or technical problems
  • Proven experience growing and selling while delivering
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
  • Proven team player and team builder
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience working with Human Center Design
  • A degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and a proven background in consulting and project management
  • PMP, Scrum Master certification preferred
  • Federal Clearance Prefered (Ability get one is required)
