Steampunk is looking for someone to join our team as the Deputy Program Manager.
Serve as the PM in the absence of the PM
Lead cross functional/cross team projects to improve the technical delivery of the program.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience with information security related projects, and be knowledgeable with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management framework.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Ten years' of experience supporting government IT and cyber security and at least seven years’ experience managing large, complex projects in a task order/contract environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and more than fifteen years' of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in a related field and ten years of relevant experience.
At least one security certification (e.g. CISSP, CEH, CISA). CISSP preferred.
Experience in federal government IT.
Experience with Cyber Compliance programs.
Strong understanding of federal CISO responsibilities, and experience in multiple roles, including:
Mastery of MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Program and contract management for upwards of 20 FTEs
Experience interfacing with federal Contracting officials
Experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) strongly preferred.
